Nate Parker film institute
Dreams do come true! I was honored to be a part of the 2022 Class of the Nate Parker Foundation, founded by Nate Parker, and Co-Founded by Brian Favors. This is a summer film institute that was held at Norfolk State University, for 10 days bringing together creators and industry professionals to teach Black, aspiring artists about the art of filmmaking. We were able to go through several workshops, pitched stories for films, created a short film, and had a screening at MacArthur Mall movie theatre.
